MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally towards Latin pop. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in 2017. in Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his debut full-length album. The album peaked at the rank of eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca the album that was the Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. Mala Influencia is his collaboration with Noriel in the year 2020. In the following calendar year Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. Later in 2021 he performed a duet on TINI's smash streaming track Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo came from a household of music his mother and older brother are musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music is a must. As a child, he played the ukulele guitar and the piano. Despite initially wanting to be veterinarian, Julian convinced him that taking lessons with an Cuban music teacher could change the direction of his profession.
