Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American presenter on television, model as well as actress, is an American comedian. She had double pneumonia that was caused by a severe strep-pneumococcal bacteria infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston gave her ECMO an intervention that saved her life. The patient suffered from multiple organ failures, and her kidneys were not able to recover. The new standard was hemodialyses and peritoneal-dialysis. After nearly 80 days in hospital, from near-death to long road to recovery, she finally returned home, but her life forever changed. Angelica's entire life was altered after her dialysis for kidneys. The kidney she would receive from only her mom. Angelica and her mother had a successful kidney surgery on September 13, 2013, at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals situated across from one. Angelica Hale's dream to be a superstar has never wavered.
